will be less expensive than Monday and Friday with departure times in the early am and early evening. Also remember that seats are limited when departing Las Vegas on a Sunday.
3. Combine Business and Pleasure. Airlines typically offer reduced fares for travelers staying over a Saturday night. These reductions can be significant, resulting in savings which will offset any additional hotel costs you incur.
4. Avoid changes. Changes in reservations after the booking most often result in an increase in the fare you pay. Airlines impose change fees for many types of fares and their inventory of the less expensive fares is greatly diminished closer to your travel date. Penalty fares aren't completely nonrefundable. Although penalty fares are not completely refundable they can be reused with the payment of a penalty. If you have obtained tickets which you are unable to use for the specific trip booked you may return them to Prestige 24 hours within the time of the booking and we can void the ticket which will save you the refund fee. This saves you the greatest amount when you have obtained penalty and non-refundable tickets.
5. Deals for 10 or more travelers. Airlines will offer your company special rates when ten or more travelers will be traveling to a meeting or special event. These rates generally apply even when travelers are on different flights and originate in different cities. The key criteria are that the purpose of the trip is for the travelers to come to a specific city for a meeting during a specific time period. Prestige Travel will negotiate hese rates for your company with our airline partners.
6. Alternate Airports and direct / connecting flights. The use of an alternate airport will provide you with options which may not only be less expensive but may be more convenient as well. As an example, a trip to San Francisco utilizing the Oakland International Airport and the BART high speed train system to downtown San Francisco may be less expensive and more convenient than flying into San Francisco International. Also by taking flights that are direct with one or more stops or connecting flights which require a plane change often result in much lower air fares.
7. International Travel. Make sure you are aware of the required documentation before you depart for your trip. Proof of citizenship requires a valid U.S. passport or your original state issued birth certificate plus a government issued photo identification. Include a copy of your itinerary with your business address and your destination in your luggage in the event you and your bags get temporarily separated. Make several copies of your passport, traveler's checks, credit cards, itinerary, airline tickets and other travel documents. Leave one copy with a relative or friend back home and carry one copy with you.
